Just doing some dusting and clearing away the cobwebs on my poor wee bloggy here, I see I still have some followers, that is fabulous to see!

Hope your Christmas and New Year was great and you are all safe and sound and are ready for the next school year which starts in Queensland this Monday, all the best to those kidlets starting school, some for the first time and some like my Goddaughter starting high school.

Hi all, tis been awhile since I've blogged (even more than normal!)

I have been dealing with a serious health issue which is taking alot out of me, good news is that I am on the road to recovery and hope to have my scrap on again very soon.

Hi ya scrappistas, how's the weekend been?

All good I hope, mine has been good, sadly two of my friends have had a bad weekend with one of my scrappy friends losing a dear close furry friend and a work friend hurting her arm/shoulder and is in physical pain, hope that you are both happier and healthier very soon. xxxoo

I have scrapped, I did Hannah aka Bubblefrog's Blind Scrap over @ Wicked Princesses on Friday but can't reveal it until Monday evening in the Wicked Princesses Gallery, will upload to here soon after.

I have also been doing some thank you card for all my wonderful goodies I got for my 'milestone' birthday. Weather here today was not conductive to taking good photos so will try sometime tomorrow to take a good photo of the cards I've done.

I am still here, just been a bad blogger again (as usual) and even worse scrapbooker.

Good news is I have no computer for a while.
Sooooo that will mean lots of scrapping once my handsome husband goes back to work and we aren't out and about or catching up with my movie viewing.

Yes, as it seems to be with me, I'll have a big spurt of scrapping and then nada, there has been no scrapping from me for the past two weeks. I'll drag out my usual excuse - tired, but also dealing with a 'situation' with a friend who is driving me, shall we shall, a bit batty?

There is lots going on in the scrappy world around me of course, Red Earth Scrapping has just announced their new Creative Team member, go and check it out in the forum.

Brittannahlee StampandScrap have announced they are looking for a sketch designer, check it out on their blog or 'Like' their page on Facebook.

Shop and Crop Scrapbooking is looking for a new talent to join our existing Design Team, so if you love scrapbooking and are motivated and creative, here are the application details:

To apply, please email six projects, five of which must be layouts and one of which must be a scrapbooking project other than a layout, to sasha@shopandcrop.com.au with the words 'Design Team' in the subject line of the email.

Please also tell us a little bit about yourself in your application - where you live, who/what you usually scrapbook, some of your favourite products/brands, how often you scrapbook, what inspires you, why you scrapbook etc....

Applications close 14 January 2011.

- All work submitted with the application must be an original design by the applicant and completed in the last three months.
- Previous applicants are encouraged to re-apply.

Tis a Christmas Miracle ~ I has a scrappy!

Yes, indeed scrappistas, I have finally scrapped!

I have completed my class with Mistra from the Design Team @ Red Earth Scrapping and behold the result below.
This is THE most time I have even spent on a layout (LO) and the MOST I have put on a LO. Yes, this is the busies/embellishment/technique based LO I have EVER completed.

And you know what? Even though it seemed to take an eon, I enjoyed myself immensely, especially using my Tim Holtz Applicator/Blender, awesome fun.

I'm seriously thinking of doing Red Earth Scrapping's next class - check it out here, lovely brights, just makes you smile (well it does me, but that could be the lack of quality sleep).

So nothing to share scrapping wise from myself as it just hasn't been happening, new product hasn't helped, magazines haven't helped, nada, nil, nothing.

No doubt my mojo will return next weekend when we are away for the two days for a wedding!

Yes, I am, because I have scrapped therefore I am scrap happy!?

Created a card for a family friend who just had a beautiful 2nd baby son. As per my style, it's simple design as shown below.

I have also created two layouts for the Wicked Princess June CyberCrop.

First challenge was to use the colours of the Rubik's cube as well as squares, my K-I-S-S layout is below.

Second challenge I have completed was to use a Madonna song and pearls and lace (a picture of retro Madonna was supplied for inspiration).

Hope you like what I've done this week.

Hope you are all well and enjoying the cooler weather. I have been away for awhile, and not well, so that is my excuse for no scrapping.

I have created some cards for some special people though - two thank you cards and a simple little wedding anniversary card for my BFF who will be celebrating 16 years of marriage with her husband this week (4/6/2010). How time flies!
